Earth Tremor ?

I was awaked this morning, approximately 7.00am, by what I thought was an Earth Tremor .
Anyone else experience this ?

Hi GK
that wasnt a tremor it was me banging my head against a brick wall trying to get an apointment for my padron
They cocked up last week when they didnt give me one and now apparently theres no appointments until January

I was beginning to think that I was awakened this morning , by my stomach rumbling .
With reference to your padron , I may be wrong , but I think it can be done online .
Perhaps Freddo can advise if this is correct .

As far as im aware,it has to be in person as its 1st application

I'm not sure Karen.
But a neighbour of mine apparently did it.
Maybe, Freddo can throw some light on this ?

Karen you will need an electronic signature first which you can get at either the PROP office in Torrevieja or a SUMA office. You will have to have a Cita Previa for whichever office you go to. For the PROP Office it is made through the Torrevieja Town Hall site www.torrevieja.es and select Cita Previa then Registro General and at the end of the page you will see a list of offices one of which will be the PROP office and if there are any appointment times they will be displayed. If there are no appointment times displayed you will just have to keep checking. I would think www.SUMA.es would be a better bet for getting the PIN as they have more offices.

Once you get your electronic PIN I think these are the steps for downloading your Padron Cert

Step 1: select CATÁLOGO DE TRÁMITES if it doesn't open up in that window.

Step 2: Under "Procedimientos Disponibles"
Enter. "Padron"

Step 3 under "Seleccione Materia"
from the dropdown menu select
"Poblacion y Territorio"

Step 4: Once you select Poblacion y Territorio it will automatically list all the different Forms for the Padron Office like updating your address or signing off the Padron etc. So select the "EST08 Certificado Individual" It will list 3 options underneath for completing it so you need to select "Tramitacion Electronica" to complete it on line. This will then ask you to enter your digital cert no.

Once you verify your digital no you should then be able to download a copy of your Padron.
