Just saw this video from the euro weekly , take care at the bars and restaurants
Dont put bags on the floor, besides hygiene, its an easy target for "hookers"
By the size of her she spends a lot of time doing this in mcdonalds

If it's from the EWN then take it with a large pinch of salt that it's on Playa Flamenca !!

I also found another article about bag thefts in playa flamenca, from 10 years ago , maybe it was the same people as teenagers

I would have thought that the CCTV should have been date/time stamped. Strange that the CCTV is actually following the alleged robbers around as they move. Anyway.

On the back of the chairs is the logo 'Carlsberg'.

The close positioning of the drinks delivery lorry to the premises was a big clue, not many establishments in Playa Flamenca have the road so close.

A quick look at Google street view (captured June 2019) - here is another view of the same premises looking in.


You can see the glass brick wall left on video/right in picture.

If you look closely at the video you will see a small wall and a drop behind, which is the difference between the level in the premises and the terrace pavement on the outside as shown in the photo.

The woman and man involved in the robbery are actually sat on the terrace pavement, so would at a level similar to that of the bag on the floor in the premises, but below the line of sight of the woman sat a the table with whom the woman that was robbed was sitting.

Calling this place a "restaurant" is stretching it along way - it's a bar/cafe.

Yes . i agree carl, it looks more like a bar , especially with carlsberg on the back of the chairs, well spotted
Lets hope they catch the pair of scumbags, i posted mainly to spread the video, so even if its not playa flamenca , someone elsewhere might recognise them, he seems quite thickset with a shaved /short cut
Dare i suggest a section on the forum eg crimewatch, where people can post videos or photos of people caught on camera committing crimes in our local communities
Or is there a law which prevents this on forums and social media due to possible lawsuits ,i think i might have answered my own question
