1.The court in Catalonia has ruled the lockdown in the municipalities around Lleida is not lawful. It says the President cannot arbitrarily rule on restrictions of movement and forcing people to remain in their homes when there is no state of alarm or even regional emergencies declared, and is illegal and unconstitutional

2. The President of Catalonia, Quim Torra, announced he did not agree with the judges decision and had issued a Boletin Oficial Cataluna dated yesterday which would validate the restriction of movement.

So, will the Spanish Government step in? The Spanish Government regard the Catalonians as a bunch of separatist trouble makers (like Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP), and their local lockdown IS technically unconstitutional, but are they bothered enough (and bloody minded enough) to make an issue of it ?
