Hola
I need to renew my existing padron this week. Is the procedure the same as it always been by queueing up to get a ticket then wait your turn in the waiting room ?
I know there is an electroncic signature available now but I want to go there in person.

Hope someone can help me

The queuing bit is probably slightly different now with the Covid-19 regs in that there would be less people allowed inside the building. It is open 9.00 to 2.00pm. However there might be less of a queue due to the online service. If you don't have a pin to access the online sute it says you can get one at the PROP Office.

After queuing up at the padron office we were told at the door that we cannot now get an appointment unless you do it online. There is no more provision to get a ticket.
So that was a waste of time.
So how do I register online , what's the procedure.????????

God knows !

I feel your pain. I have given up trying to fathom out the Town Hall electronic office. I think you have to get a cl@ve. You could try calling into the Town Hall to the Registro General y Ventanilla Única PROP (Registry Office) . You can get a cl@ve from SUMA who I find are the easiest to deal with. Follow this link to make an appointment and select cl@ve
https://www.suma.es/cita_previa.xhtml click on Book an Appointment select cl@ve from the dropdown menu and select a date and office for your appointment.

Have just completed the process of getting an appointment to renew padron paperwork....for three month paperwork date rule.
You request an appointment on line 'torrevieja.es'. Select the service you require....there are lots of them. You are then given a day, and time options. Click which you want. Fill in a form with your details and then you get the appointment with a code/PIN. This is confirmed by email. No need to pre register. All in Spanish but relatively simple once figured out.
Biggest catch...we tried and tried all day yesterday but there were no appointments available to book. Got up early today to try again and yes there were appointments for one day only, with 14 appointments available for the one day, and that day was the first week of August! No other days available until then! Looks like they are releasing the appointments day by day and first come, first served. Other services might have more appointments but there appears to be a shortage of appointments within the padron system.

So you don't need a cl@ve?

Thanks Toddy. I kept getting that blank box and no appointment times came up when I tried accessing Cita Previa on the top of the www.torrevieja.es site or the sede electronic site so I presumed it was locking me out because I didn't have an electronic identification cert or a cl@ve. Good to know it's just a question of "perseverance" nearly as bad as the physical queueing.

Toddy can you confirm which box you selected for renewing your Padron. Tx Bee

https://torrevieja.sedelectronica.es/citaprevia.3#
Cita Previa
Did you then select. Censo y Estadistica
And which box did you then select was it
"Volantes y Certificados" or
Altas,Bajas y Modificacions.

The Dias Disponibles come up and you should get a list of times available to select from. You don't of course just a blue box if there are none available.

Process we used....I hope it was correct..

torrevieja.es
...then straight in to 'Cita previa' which is a picture logo box.
then there is a long list of offices/depts.......we chose Censr y estadisticia (which is the padron office official name)
...then there is a choice of three options ....top one I read as a quick appointment, second one for change of details, and third one something else.

We are still hoping that we have got it right but not 100% sure.
