Asador Casa Paco, near Rojales

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Resta ... -0.7024095

Haven´t been for a while, so went today for MDD after a round of errands.

Cost 13€

Bread & aioli
Salad
3 couses
1/2 bottle of wine
Coffee
Alcohol shot

The restauant is basically an indoor barbeque, very light and airy with very pleasant staff who speak basic English if required. The food is astonishly good quality, with good portion sizes. One good point, for drivers, is that they have sin alcohol beer on draught.

My choices were, mixed meats and cheese, a succulent and thick pork chop and rice pudding.

You can normally get away without booking but it does get quite busy at Spanish eating times.

Thanks for bus advice.
Did you eat at the Chinese restaurant beside Bayside? Recently or before lockdown? We used to enjoy eating there and went on many occasions but recently we found that the standard of food had dropped dramatically and haven’t returned to eat there since early July. It used to be packed every evening from 5pm onwards but when we were over recently it had started to gain back some patronage but Nothing like it used to be. Prior to this, the restaurant was almost empty.
The other Chinese restaurant near the strip closed down but Sunshine is still in business further towards the beach.
As a matter of interest, gave the Chinese restaurants been hit by people’s attitude towards Covid 19?

Just been to Zhong Hua in Alicante,
Don't bother.
Doesn't compete with all others I've been too,
Best one, The Asia in Pilar de la Horadada.

No,we have not been there since before lockdown, so maybe it has gone downhill. As to boycotting because of covid, I suppose it is possible, theres nowt as queer as folk, as they say in Yorkshire.
