The rate of state pension compared to the rest of Europe is a joke and an insult to many that have contributed Income Tax and NI throughout their working lives....compare what they've paid to what they'll recieve and as usual the government are quids in (even better if you die early)oh and if you own your own home and need to go into a care home we'll have that as well,the way our old folk are treated is a national disgrace.
