The last paragraph in the article says that 23% of the land is to be used for social housing, VPO, viviends de protección oficiál.
Here is an advert of how the housing complexes may look, with prices from 210,000€ to 516.000€

No, I'm looking further towards La Siesta. Reading the article again it looks like they are having to buy some land for it.elcarretero wrote: 04 Mar 2024 16:23 The article talks about two roundabouts, including the one you mentioned, Calle de Las Gardenias, the eventually leads to Shannon´s pub.
I may be wrong but it looks like they are putting the roundabout here

and I would have thought it more sensible to put it here

I see what you mean SB, although the proposed access is only 100m closer to La Siesta, at the other side of the waste ground, C. Antonio Mirete Saez, than the access you suggest.Sheff_Blade wrote: 04 Mar 2024 18:53No, I'm looking further towards La Siesta. The image below was taken from the property listing link you provided, and I have added some arrows.elcarretero wrote: 04 Mar 2024 16:23 The article talks about two roundabouts, including the one you mentioned, Calle de Las Gardenias, the eventually leads to Shannon´s pub.
The red arrow is where the new roundabout will be added on the CV905.
I think the roundabout marked with the blue arrow is the second roundabout you mention, and referred to as "Noroeste" in the article.
There is also another roundabout on the perimeter of the development, marked by the black arrow - that appears to be in Calle Jose Carreras.

Interesting, it also looks like two more mini roundabouts are to be built, to the right of your red arrow, until you reach the roundabout at Hiperber and the big lighting shop. Those will certainly calm the traffic and frustrate the motorist. During construction, I wonder if the traffic will be diverted around the back of the Torretas and El Limonar from the La Siesta roundabout to the Hiperber roundabout

I don't think they are the social housing photos Fred
I am delighted it is TM that are building them as the development will be finished to a high standard. I see they have an A rating for energy. I wouldn't mind an A rated one myself. I would think the annual community charges will be quite steep if there is going to be on-site security, sports facilities and parking.

I do apologise. My positioning of the red arrow should have been lower, I believe the two mini roundabouts you mention are on a service road parallel to the CV905.elcarretero wrote: 04 Mar 2024 21:14 Interesting, it also looks like two more mini roundabouts are to be built, to the right of your red arrow, until you reach the roundabout at Hiperber and the big lighting shop. Yes and interestingly, there doesn't seem to be a roundabout on the CV905 where the red arrow is, though there does appear to be a junction. I'm guessing the graphic artist didn't get around to it or wasn't sure what it would be.Carl wrote: 05 Mar 2024 16:03I do apologise. I'm reading on Facebook that the traffic is horrendous around this area, presumably because of the Calle Jose Carreras being closed. Anyone witnessed this first-hand?
