239 hostages from 11 different nations, still held by Hamas.
No doubt that on October 7th Hamas knew that their actions would result in a massive response from Israel. They knew that their countrymen, women and children would suffer that response. Hamas continue to fight in and around hospitals and refugee camps. More evidence is emerging of how Hamas has used these areas as cover for their terrorist activities, even of the murder of hostages within the Al-Shifa hospital.
All these cries for a ceasefire, protests throughout London and the UK. Who’s calling for the release of the hostages? Or condemning Hamas?
I don’t remember such protests about the genocide being carried out by Assad in Syria or in Yemen where millions are caught in a humanitarian crisis. Yet not a word from AoS or his ilk.
The fact is that this is a chance for Muslims and anti-Semites to voice their hatred for Jews.
Unfortunately thousands of serial protesters get drawn in by this, ignoring the true agenda of most of the Muslims in whom this hatred is ingrained.
I am a Londoner and I can tell you that I have never felt threatened or in danger from Jews on the streets of London. Yet I most certainly have felt that from Muslims who have been responsible for horrendous acts of terrorism, not only in London but all over the UK.
Islam is a religion of peace until it is bent and twisted by those who use it to justify their hatred.
Eventually there will have to be a two state solution to the Palestinian problem but as things stand I fear that many more lives will be lost, on both sides before that happens.
The problem goes back way before 1948.

Let's face it, a whole nation of Palestinians are being wiped out. The Palestininas were forcibly removed from their homes and their lands after 1948 (the Nabka). Those that stayed were murdered. I just wonder how many of you would NOT support Hamas if your rights had been systematically violated for more than 50 years. We have apartheid in Israel and the world doesn't care.

Yes, so much hatred.

It seems people don't read anymore. History tells us so much. Most of what is happening has been done before with dire consequences. We need to read history so we can prevent the bad things from happening again.
