Easyjet vouchers
Easyjet vouchers
Having tried repeatedly to get through to Easyjet, I finally managed to speak with a young lady this morning. I explained that I had had several flights booked to travel to Spain but they had been cancelled and I had a agreed to have vouchers rather than refunds. I then told her that Zi had never received any notification regarding my vouchers from them. Did I not receive my vouchers in an email? No, nothing. Spent ages waiting but eventually she emailed the relevant vouchers to me. My next question, how do I book flights using these vouchers? Could I put the voucher number into a box? The answer was NO, I will have to ‘phone in order to book any flights. I asked if there was a dedicated number to ring, NO. I TOLD HER THAT I COULDN'T BEAR TO HANG ON
TO THE PHONE FOR AGES LISTENING TO THE MOST GHASTLY MUSIC . No choice, none at all.
How I wish I had opted for a refund but I genuinely wanted to support Easyjet during such trying times. On top of that, they emailed me last night just before midnight
to tell me that our EASYJET PLUS MEMBERSHIP would be renewed on 1/7/20....today, Another £400. It had already been processed so I couldn’t rescind it even though we will not be flying for a while.
I am so disappointed, really disillusioned. Why can’t Easyjet TRY to meet us halfway? Imagine expecting everyone to telephone knowing that the vast majority of us will give up after wasting 20 minutes hanging on in the hope of speaking with a customer service agent and wasting money on the call.
Is there anything we can all unite together and do to insist on a better service from Easyjet?

Re: Easyjet vouchers
I don't know if you are aware, but you can only use one voucher per booking.
http://www.easyjet.com/en/policy/disrup ... for%20cash.
The only way they'll listen to anybody will be if enough people vote with their feet.
I just refer to them as Fraudjet now.
At least with Ryanair, you know they are going to stiff you one way or another from the onset.

Re: Easyjet vouchers
I might begin taking suitcases and use my credit that way!
Surely I can’t be expected to use a £400 voucher on a single booking based on today’s prices. Surely I’d get a few flights
I am not looking forward to ringing them again as it’s hell.

Re: Easyjet vouchers
I think Lincoln45 is correct in that you can only use the vouchers that relate to the cancelled bookings.
You can't lump them all together.
You can't lump them all together.
Re: Easyjet vouchers
As I read this, You had several separate bookings cancelled and instead of giving one voucher per booking, they have lumped it all into one voucher?
Regards to your membership, I would contact your bank/credit card, telling them that they took the money without or very little warning.
I'm not sure of the law on this. For direct debits If the amount taken is different to previous amounts, then they have to give you notice.
