Re: Bus/Coach Services La Florida/Playa Flaminca
Travelling from La Florida to Zenia Boulevard you can catch the Avanza operated Linea Roja/Red Line bus.
Winter Schedule:
Monday - Friday (except bank holidays)
07.30 - 14:00h / 15:30 - 19:30h
Summer Schedule (July and August):
Monday - Sunday
07:30 - 14:00h / 15:30 - 20:30h
Not sure what the asterisk(*) sign is for, because it does not appear anywhere on the timetable. The above timetable is from the Orihuela Tourist website, so hopefully it is correct and up to date.
Unless any else knows differently, for regular services to Benidorm or Alemeria you would probably need to go via Torrevieja bus station or to a pickup point on the N332 through Orihuela Costa to catch one of the long distance services provided by bus companies like Alsa.
If you would need to get a bus from La Florida to Torrevieja Bus Station it might be easier to take the Red Line bus from La Florida to Torrevieja Hospital, and the get a bus from there to the bus station. Otherwise I think you would need to travel in the direction of Playa Flamenca Town Hall or Zenia Boulevard, to pick up the Orihuela Costa - Torrevieja bus station route.
It might have been mentioned on the old forum, but I believe some people were using the Coach Trips/Dave's Coaches Benidorm excursions for getting to Benidorm rather than using the regular bus services.

Re: Bus/Coach Services La Florida/Playa Flaminca
Thanks for your response. How frequent is the regular bus service to Benidorm and where does one get this bus and where exactly does it drop off at Benidorm?
Re: Bus/Coach Services La Florida/Playa Flaminca
Unfortunately there is only one direct bus at the moment and that is in the evening with Bilman Bus. All others require a change in Alicante to transfer to another bus company for the onward journey to Benidorm.
The main drop off points in Benidorm are either at the bus station or Avenida de Europa.
It might be easier for you to use this to calculate travel, based on date and timing.
