Jet2 Opening Bournemouth Base For Summer 2025 - Alicante Flights

Formally announced yesterday, Jet2 and Jet2 holidays will be launching flights and holidays from Bournemouth Airport in the summer of 2025.

Amongst the destinations on the programme for next summer is Alicante, with flights twice a week (Tuesdays & Saturdays). Flights to Alicante commence in May 2025.

Just checked, outward 07:20 from Bournemouth with an 11:30 departure for the return from Alicante.

Bit of competition for Ryanair on the route, although Jet2 flights are normally priced well above the likes of Ryanair or Easyjet.

Most of the Ryanair flights from Bournemouth are evening flights(after 5pm), all of which are too late for the bus

My daughter lives in Bournemouth and normally comes with Ryanai and this interesting news, but the arrival and depature times are irrelevant as I'm the taxi driver, so price may be a deciding factor rather than the incovenience to me.
