Absolutely terrible, thankfully baby is fine, I was saying to my husband whoever put the baby there must have been waiting to see someone coming before putting the baby down, or baby would have died in a very short time it was so so cold, at least that's what I hoped happened,

I just can't begin to imagine what she must be going through to resort to such a thing. So thankful that the baby has survived this.

Yes it is sad for mother and baby that the mother or her family or friends had to resort to such a desperate measure. The outcome in these cases is that the infant rarely comes to any harm. I hope the mother gets proper medical treatment. Things mightn't look so desperate for her in a couple of week's time.

At least the baby is alive, that's the main thing.

Unforunately women have been abandoning their new born babies for aeons,so it's not a new thing and in fact, as mentioned in the article, the infant is the third to be found in Newham in four years, with a girl left in a park in February 2019, and a boy on the street in January 2020. In equally freezing temperatures no doubt.

It's nearly always a very desperate measure and probably the last thing on her mind was the weather.

Hopefully she is found and receives the proper medical treatment.
