Let the kids out

I had better be careful how I word this.
Have the Spanish government lost the plot? Allowing children to go to the supermarket etc for a walk with a parent or guardian! Oh joy!
I heard children playing in a little Calle near us, two nights ago. Yes it is not allowed but the sound of children playing and laughing was a wonderful sound.
Has anyone used the bus service? How can you justify a bus trip? Do the police get on the bus? Wait for people getting on or off the bus? Getting the bus to your nearest .......doesn't justify a bus ride or does it?

You can use the bus for what is allowed during lockdown i.e going to work, going to your nearest shop, going for a medical app, taking the cat to the vet. Taking your child to the childminder. There are only a few seats useable on the bus due to the physical distancing rules so I presume if they are all filled the bus wont stop at every stop.

Good news!

The government rectifies their decision about children going out.

The minister of health, Salvador Illa, has just made an announcement. These were his words:

Illa: "The first announcement that I want to make, as you know, is that tomorrow the Prime Minister is going to ask Congress for an extension of the state of alarm. We are not in a phase of de-escalation. The situation does not allow certain relief decisions to be made, given the evolution of the epidemic.
This Government has listened, and this weekend I will issue an order so that children under 14 can take walks. "

He continues: “Taking walks is taking walks. We are going to explain in the next few days under what circumstances they can take place and we will be giving recommendations according to what the experts have told us."

The government has listened and will make further announcement this week to allow children to be able to go for walks!

Surely people can use common sense and follow the existing government guidelines (social distancing, playgrounds out of bounds) that are already in place, rather than going through the bureaucracy to draw up an action protocol.
