Really boring but Supermarket opening Sunday

Have just arrived and wondering about opening times tomorrow, I thought all were closed now Sundays but Consum and Lidl web site show them as opening.

Any ideas please

They should be open tomorrow Sunday but they will all be closed on Monday 9th. Carrefour is definitely open tomorrow.

All the big stores are open Sundays right through to 5th Jan next in Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa due to being areas of Large Tourist Influx except the named days. See below.

Was at the card shop at Punta Marina at 9am, short queue of people outside the Consum their waiting for it to open but it remained closed.

The Lidl at Playa Flamenca on N332 opens on a Sunday, but the one at La Zenia is closes on a Sunday this time of year.

Worth mentioning Valencia Day tomorrow, will largely unaffect most stores although as is the norm Mercadona will be closed. Forget what I said

The 2 Aldi's in Torrevieja are open today Sun 8th but closed tomorrow Mon 9th for Valencia Day similar to Carrefour

Never a boring question, this forum was built on people asking questions, those of us who were on from the start (of the old one too) still have the joke of "is Carrefour open today" we say it lots of times lol

And this forum was also built on friendy people Wendy, and remains so to this day.

Any nasty people were quickly weeded out, and this forum is a no go area for nasty people, as some have learnt.

Many of us have fond memories of the ' old one' , but it was ruined by nasty people in the end.

Thankfully they are all now confined to their own little ' enclave', and can no longer poison other forums with their nastiness.

We are what a Torrevieja ex-pat forum should be, helping each other out with local issues, and, as you said, ' people asking questions' .

And to answer you question Wendy ...... Carrefour is closed on Monday. lol.
