Leaving Playa Flamenca when playing golf at Font del Llop, Alenda, Alicante, etc I use the AP7 and dodge the Los Molinos Peaje by coming off the motorway at Junction 754, then up the CV940 to a roundabout, then left along the CV945 to join the AP7 at Junction 751. Reversing the process on my return journey saves around €8 at peak rates.

I Think that the above article outlines the tolls that are not, now, going to be implemented in 2024

These aforementioned fees are expected to be approximately between 3 and 5 cents per kilometre on motorways. In order to illustrate more clearly what this measure would mean, from Welex, lawyers and accountants in Marbella, we inform you that, therefore, the price to be paid on a trip between Marbella and Málaga, capital of the Costa del Sol, would be between approximately €1.80 and €3 per trip.

This plan for tolls on motorways in Spain is as ambitious as the Spanish government plans to introduce them progressively not only on motorways and dual carriageways, but also on the entire national road network. These plans for the introduction of tolls on motorways in Spain require the Council of Ministers to give a ‘first reading’ to this mobility law before next June. However, it is not expected to be approved before the second quarter of 2023.

Well I still would like to know what this statement refers to as it doesn't mention any particular motorway network that will not be toll free for the time being.

As I said,it doesn't affect me because although the N332 gets a bit congested around La Zenia it's only in the holiday season and not a big problem.

' The Spanish Government has agreed with Brussels that there will be no motorway tolls in 2024.'

If you read the first lines of the article it says "Good news for drivers as Spanish motorways will not become toll roads in 2024"
I believe that this means that the idea to turn all roads, as per the article I linked to, will now, not happen in 2024. It may happen sometime in the future though.
