But , I don't have much trust in any of the mainstream media.

This virus will never die out. It is here to stay. You could wrap yourself in cotton wool for as long as you like but it will still be around when you resurface. Social distancing is merely a means of flattening the peak.

As far as I'm aware, the 'Spanish' flu that caused the pandemic of 1918-1920 is still around in various strains.

Fogive my naïvety, Lincoln45 and Graham Knight, but what do you have against the Guardian please_ It is the most neutral, politically, of all the UK broadsheets IMHO.

Way back in the 80's, I used to buy it everyday. Even in those days it was recognised as leaning to the left politically.
I gave it up many years ago and like Graham very rarely bother with the main stream papers. They are all biased in one way or another. When I do pick up one that's been discarded, I hardly get to the end of an article before I bin it.

Just a sample of those writing for the Guardian include:

Owen Jones - Champagne socialist Owen Jones is a Labour Party activist and Corbynista. He writes a column for The Guardian and contributes to the New Statesman and Tribune.

Katharine Viner - former member of youth CND, criticised the invasion of Iraq saying (George Bush “bombed Afghanistan to liberate the women from their burkas (or, as he would have it, to free the "women of cover"), and sent out his wife Laura to tell how Afghans are tortured for wearing nail varnish".

Polly Toynbee - Former candidate for the SDP now a Labour supporter. Believes that Tony Blair's government "remains the best government of my political lifetime".

Jim Waterson - former political editor of UK Buzzfeed (enough said there).

And lets not forget what they wrote about David Cameron in an online editorial where they wrote that Mr Cameron felt "privileged pain" over the death of his son (September 2019) and the paper asked whether he "might have understood the damage his policies have done" if he had sought care for a parent rather than a child.

The Guardian is not neutral. It is a breeding ground for champagne socialists.
