Are you a bit late Boris
Are you a bit late Boris
Decides today to do what many said he should have done last week in line with the rest if the world.
Hopefully not too many additional lives have been lost because of the delay.
Well done, lives before profit at last.
Some may think its a bad idea, I think its about time.

He was in a no-win situation with the timing - damned if he did, damned if he didn't. The same can be said with the closure of schools. When would have been the right time ?
I am not sure why so many people are criticising Boris when his decisions are made based on information provided by the Government's Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the Chief Scientific Adviser (CSA). The CMO and CSA having the expertise in the control of the spread of the virus and mitigation of risk to public health.

If you are a Boris fan, do not read this post.
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... ter-brexit
Just a snippet to whet your appetite, we all need a bit of humour
From Monday, most British parents will be home-schooling their children. Not Johnson, of course – I imagine he doesn’t want to break his own pledge on class sizes. The prime minister keeps saying that the forthcoming test to determine whether you have coronavirus will be “as simple as a pregnancy test”, spaffing his sole area of expertise rather early in what is likely to be a long campaign.
Actually, that’s unfair. His other area of expertise is disguising rather basic points with needlessly obscure language. Once this made him a highly overrated prose stylist; now it could make him accomplice to the death of your relatives and friends. “The key message,” Johnson key-messaged on Tuesday, is that people follow the advice “sedulously”. Ah, sedulously. Sedulously. The signal for 10 million hardworking families to draw down the leather-bound thesaurus from their shelves and browse synonyms for the word “twat”.

1000 people have now died in Spain from Coronavirus.
That’s 1000 human beings and they are all dead. Surly to goodness you can see the enormity of this virus. People refuse to believe that it will affect them, nobody knows what way it will affect them. Some may be fortunate enough to get through it whilst another will die a horrible death. My son in law went out to the pub in London last evening and again this evening. I would like to put it down to stupidity but the man is exceptionally clever( just not smart) A picture of him and 2 other males was put onto our family app. I was horrified but his arrogance will trip him up if he isn’t careful.
If everyone took heed if the advice given, the virus would slow down and eventually die out
At this point, I am scared.
One person has died here in Northern Ireland, he had cancer but was keeping very well If he hadn’t caught this virus, he’d still be alive. So, underlying health problems doesn’t make these deaths any easier to accept. Older people do their best to stay as well as they can, they are careful with their health because they are in no rush to die. Being exposed to Coronavirus is a guaranteed way to die sooner rather than later. That’s why we all have to go into hiding and make sure we don’t encounter this killer, keep safe and see you all next year.

I questioned, as did many scientists and medical experts, at the time what the evidence was Boris kept referring too.admin wrote: 20 Mar 2020 19:45 He was in a no-win situation with the timing - damned if he did, damned if he didn't. Now it has been released and it was not medical or scientific that Boris implemented.
The report clearly states that the decision to lockdown or close schools etc is a political one.
That is why it can be questioned as to whether keeping them open for so long was correct.
