If you have or need to use an buildings insurance Company stay well clear of the above, don't answer phones within 30 minutes, don't reply to emails, don't want to pay out. Might give direct line a try with new buildings insurance.

Hi, neighbour above has been with sabadell for 20 years, me 6 years, as his place leaks he and I are trying to claim on his insurance but sabadell are not replying to emails and don't answer the phone. I don't really want a cheap price if they do not reply or don't pay up, I think I will go with linea directa, my car is with them and they do answer the phones and plenty who speak English.

Bear in mind that you can't just quit Sabadell insurance, there is a required notice period that has to be given.

Had a leak last Christmas, phoned Sabadell and answered immediately and plumber arrived 2 hours later. No problem.

I have to go to the bank and sign paperwork to quit. The policy end date is May, I will not renew, still waiting on them but I did receive a call last Friday and an email asking for ID but they did not actually tell me why. This has been going in since the goto fria if that is how it is spelt.

I just thought I would let you all know Banco Sabadell paid most of the money in the end, I sent in some quotes and photos and they put money in my account based off of that. I had to complain to their HQ for anyone to even start listening to me, cancelling with them when next over. Also my neighbour above had his terrace sorted out so hopefully that will be the end of it.
