Thanks for having me, looking forward to much useful information, sparkling debates and good humour!

With one forum due to close and another in its death throes, this newcomer is very welcome and I hope will be very successful.
Seems to have all the features offerred by the others, but also promises a breath of fresh air!
Many familiar names have joined, and I do not have a problem with that, as they must realise this is a new playground, the old cliques do not exist, the admin is not the one they were once influential with,

It is a fresh start, the future is bright, and any bad apples will eventually be culled, so lets get on and make this the best of forums for all members!

Also would like to see revision of the discussion board order of play..

eg: general enquiries
general discussion (not politics)
Political discussion
Word games etc
Sport
Jokes
Reviews..Restaurants, Bars, Hotels...car rentals . Services etc

perhaps a lighter shade of beige background, and/or darker larger font...cease with the rolling news, as well...

These are only my suggestions I can happily live with everything as it is currently!

I like the rolling news and everything else looks just fine to me on my desktop computer.

...I use an Ipad, so everything appears smaller than on a desktop.
Also Education topic at no2 seems to be too high up...no posts yet, whereas Sport has 5 and could move up.
Word games also popular and could be elevated.
The most used topics should perhaps be nearer the top of the list, to avoid unneccessary scrolling?

Maybe more time will show how things are panning out, but always worth keeping an open mind ....
