Increase in traffic around the airport as drivers seek an alternative route to the N332 between L'Altet and Alicante, and vice versa. First rider is due to leave Elche at 14:40 with the last arriving in Alicante at 17:30.

The only reason I know the date is because we head to the Airport tomorrow for an 11.00am flight and I am not sure what time the stage starts.

Bit late on picking up on your post Bee. The stage route is closed from 11:30 until 17:30, so fingers crossed you should already be 30 minutes into your flight before the road closures begin.

Yes Carl we had no delays thankfully. One thing we noticed this morning. We went to the Carrefour/Cepsa filling station at La Mata this morning to fill up only to find it is closed. Tape across all the pumps. Anybody know is it closed for good? We used the Repsol one on the Alicante side of Guardmar which is just as handy for the Airport.
