Suma (council Tax)
Last year my bill came out in September via Direct Debit, it has not come out so far this year, is that the same for everyone else in Torrevieja?

Thanks, do you have an email address, hopefully the reply quicker than banco sabadell.

Their web add is www.suma.es. you can ring them or they have a chat line. Have your passport no, the address of the property in Spain and anything else you can think of just in case.

Re: Suma (council Tax)
Many thanks, so painful dealing with anyone in Spain normally. Banco Sabadell still ignoring insurance claim. Spain is one painful country, take away the sunshine and I don't think there would be any point in going there.
Re: Suma (council Tax)
I suppose it comes down mostly to the language barrier and then knowing how everything works. Having to depend on someone else to do simple everyday things that you would sort yourself in 5 minutes is the most frustrating. When you are visiting your property you don't want to spend half your time sorting out stuff which a lot of the time doesn't get sorted. You want to leave all that at home after you. You really need to have writ large.

There`s much more to Spain than just the sunshine but yes it helps if you can speak the language.
But we have many friends here who don`t speak Spanish at all and they get on just fine.
