A turkey is a turkey

...bought the turkey yesterday...£3 a kilo....amonst others on sale at £14 per kilo!!!

but they are all turkeys...and when roasted, served with sauce of your choice...if cooked properly...will all taste much the same?

Or are there turkey snobs out there, similar to wine snobs...desperate to impress the family?

Wonder how much a kilo at the Emerald Isle, as against Waldemars, for example? :D :D

Or am I really Scrooge...as my wife suggests?....

Wouldn't know Francisco .. we didn't buy one this year.

We're at Christophers today for our Christmas dinner

We were at the Emerald Isle last for a meal and watching our mate Richie Alexander so bit delicate this morning.
We were also there on Wedsnesday night to see RAnDOM ...Richie and Dougie Munroe.. another excellent night.
You obviously know the area. ;)

...cheap turkey cooked to perfection....by me, of course, served with parsley and oregano sauce, gravy, sprouts, roast potatos, carrots ,stuffing and yorkshire pudding...
Everybody complimented the chef, and strangely nobody asked how much per kilo did we pay for the bird...

...there is a moral in there somewhere...
