The dualling of the Torrevieja section of the N332 overlooked once again.

I do not think anyone will be surprised about Orihuela to Torrevieja/Orihuela Costa train project supported by the Mayors' of Torrevieja and Orihuela hitting the buffers. The cost was huge.

Interesting development on the proposed Orihuela - Torrevieja rail link which seemed to have been killed off by the cost, it now appears to have been re-incaranted into a rail and road link for which Spain hopes to build with EU financial assistance.
